الملخص
تناول هذه الدراسة العمل الطوعي في المجتمعات الانسانية القديمة وفي الديانات السماوية من حيث تأريخه واثره في المجتمعات الانسانية مثل الحضارة اليونانية والحضارة الرومانية والحضارة المصرية وكما تناولت التطوع في اليهودية والمسيحية وايضا عند العرب قبل الاسلام وبعد الاسلام وذلك عبر تحليل مظاهر وأشكال العمل التطوعي في الحضارات الانسانية توضح الدراسة كيف تطوّرت دوافع وأساليب التطوع، ومدى ارتباطها بالقيم المجتمعية والدينية.
استخدم الباحث كل من المنهج التأصيلي التحليلي والتاريخي وذلك لتتبع الجذور الفكرية والدينية لمفهوم التطوع منذ أقدم العصور وحتى الإسلام وقد تسأل الباحث عن أبرز مظاهر وأشكال العمل التطوعي في الحضارات القديمة مثل اليونانية، الرومانية، والمصرية وفي الديانات السماوية .وقد توصل الي ان العمل التطوعي يُعد من أقدم أشكال التعاون الإنساني، إذ مثّل عبر التاريخ ركيزةً أساسية في ترسيخ قيم التكافل والمساعدة المتبادلة داخل المجتمعات وقد توصل الي أن التطوع ليس مجرد سلوك فردي بل قيمة إنسانية عابرة للزمن والثقافات.

Abstract
This study explores volunteerism in ancient human societies and in the Abrahamic religions, examining its historical background and its impact on human communities, such as the Greek, Roman, and ancient Egyptian civilizations. It also addresses volunteerism in Judaism, Christianity, and among the Arabs before and after Islam. The study illustrates how the motives and methods of volunteer work have evolved and how closely they are tied to religious and societal values.
The researcher employed both the analytical foundational approach and the historical method to trace the intellectual and religious roots of volunteerism. The researcher investigated the most prominent forms and manifestations of volunteer work in ancient human societies and concluded that volunteerism is one of the oldest forms and expressions of human cooperation. Throughout history, it has served as a fundamental pillar in reinforcing the values of solidarity and mutual aid in communities. The study also concluded that volunteerism is not merely a spontaneous behavior but a timeless human value that transcends eras and cultures.
