الملخّص:
يهدف هذا البحث إلى دراسة تفصيلية للمؤسسات التعليمية في مدينة نابلس خلال الفترة المملوكية، وهي الفترة التي شهدت فيها دولة المماليك في مصر وبلاد الشام نفوذًا سياسيًا وثقافيًا كبيرًا. يتناول البحث تطور الحياة العلمية في نابلس خلال هذه الحقبة، مع التركيز على دور سلاطين المماليك في تعزيز الحركة العلمية، ونوعية التعليم، والمراكز التعليمية التي أسهمت في النهضة العلمية في المدينة.
يتمحور البحث حول مبحثين رئيسيين: الأول يتناول نشأة وتطور دولة المماليك، ونظام الحكم فيها، بينما يسلط المبحث الثاني الضوء على دور سلاطين المماليك في دعم المؤسسات التعليمية في نابلس خلال العصر المملوكي. وقد أسفر البحث عن نتائج علمية مهمة، أبرزها:
- ازدهار الحياة العلمية في نابلس: أظهرت نتائج البحث تطورًا ملحوظًا في المؤسسات التعليمية والعلمية خلال العصر المملوكي، حيث تحولت المدارس والمساجد والزوايا إلى مراكز رئيسية لنقل المعرفة وتطوير العلوم الدينية واللغوية.
- دور سلاطين المماليك في دعم التعليم: أبرز البحث الدور الكبير الذي لعبه سلاطين المماليك في تعزيز الحركة العلمية في نابلس، حيث كانت سياساتهم داعمة للمؤسسات التعليمية والعلمية، مما أسهم في ترسيخ القيم الثقافية والعلمية في المدينة.
اعتمد البحث على مصادر تاريخية متنوعة، مثل الوثائق والمخطوطات والمراجع الأدبية والتاريخية، التي تم تحليلها لفهم البيئة العلمية في نابلس خلال هذه الفترة. كما أتاح ذلك دراسة تأثير هذه العوامل على التطور العلمي في المدينة، مما يسهم في إثراء الفهم حول تاريخ نابلس وأثرها في مجال الثقافة والعلوم خلال العصور الوسطى.

Abstract
This research aims to provide a detailed study of educational institutions in the city of Nablus during the Mamluk period, a time when the Mamluk state in Egypt and the Levant exerted significant political and cultural influence. The study explores the development of intellectual life in Nablus during this era, with a focus on the role of the Mamluk sultans in promoting the scholarly movement, the nature of education, and the educational centers that contributed to the city’s intellectual renaissance.
The research is organized into two main sections: the first examines the origin, development, and governance system of the Mamluk state, while the second highlights the role of the Mamluk sultans in supporting educational institutions in Nablus during the Mamluk period. The research has led to several significant findings, notably:
- The flourishing of intellectual life in Nablus: The findings reveal a notable advancement in educational and scholarly institutions during the Mamluk era. Schools, mosques, and zawiyas became key centers for disseminating knowledge and advancing religious and linguistic sciences.
- The role of the Mamluk sultans in supporting education: The research underscores the significant role played by the Mamluk sultans in enhancing the intellectual movement in Nablus. Their policies were instrumental in supporting educational and scientific institutions, thereby helping to solidify the cultural and intellectual values in the city.
The study relies on a variety of historical sources, including documents, manuscripts, and literary and historical references, which were analyzed to understand the intellectual environment in Nablus during this period. This approach has allowed for an in-depth examination of how these factors influenced the city’s scientific development, contributing to a deeper understanding of Nablus’s history and its impact on culture and science during the medieval era.
