تهدف هذه الورقة إلى الكشف عن جملة من المضامين والدلالات الرمزية التي تتجلى في الشعر العربي من خلال توظيف صورة الطير بوصفها عنصرًا تعبيريًا غنيًا بالدلالة. وتكتسب هذه الدلالات أهمية خاصة لارتباطها الوثيق بالإنسان وحركته في الحياة، وما يعتري علاقته بذاته وبالآخرين ضمن سياقات اجتماعية ونفسية وثقافية متعددة، سواء على مستوى التفاعل الإيجابي أو السلبي.
وقد وجد الشعراء في الطير وسيطًا رمزيًا ملائمًا للتعبير عن مكنوناتهم الوجدانية والفكرية، فحملت هذه الصورة الشعرية معاني متباينة، من بينها حب الطبيعة والوطن، والتوق إلى الحرية والانعتاق، ونزعة الفخر والشجاعة، والإيمان بعظمة الخالق وقدرته، فضلًا عن توظيفها في التحذير من مظاهر الخداع والتزييف، ولا سيما تلك التي تتستر برداء الدين لاستغلال الآخرين. وتخلص الورقة إلى أن التأمل في هذه الدلالات الرمزية يسهم في تعميق الوعي النقدي لدى المتلقي، ويتيح له الاستفادة من القيم الإنسانية والفكرية التي يبثها الشعر العربي عبر رموزه وصوره الفنية.

Abstract
This paper aims to explore a range of symbolic meanings and connotations manifested in Arabic poetry through the image of birds as a rich expressive element. These meanings are of particular significance due to their close connection with human life, movement, and interaction within diverse social, psychological, and cultural contexts, whether positive or negative.
Poets have found birds to be a highly effective symbolic medium through which they articulate their inner emotions and sentiments. Accordingly, the bird image in Arabic poetry conveys multiple themes, including love of nature and homeland, the aspiration for freedom and liberation, pride and courage, faith in the greatness and omnipotence of God, as well as warnings against deception and hypocrisy, especially when cloaked in religious guise to mislead others. The paper concludes that careful reflection on these symbolic meanings enhances critical awareness and enables readers to draw moral and intellectual guidance from the human values embedded in Arabic poetic expression.
