ملخص:
نسعى في هذا البحث إلى دراسة دور الترابط النصي في إنتاج المعنى في نادرة “الأخ المقل وأخيه المكثر” الواردة في كتاب البخلاء للجاحظ، معتمدين في مقاربتنا لهذا الموضوع، على ما توصّل إليه البلاغيون العرب، لاسيما نظرية التحام الأجزاء عند الجاحظ، إضافة إلى إسهامات هاليداي ورقية حسن في مستوى الاتساق السطحي للخطاب؛ إذ نرغب، من خلال دراستنا لهذا المتن المنتمي إلى التراث العربي، في الكشف عن نصيته، بإبراز مجموعة من الأدوات والوسائل والعلاقات التي تمنحه التماسك والتلاحم.
نعتمد، في دراستنا لهذا الموضوع، على منهجية تقسّم البحث إلى شقّين أساسيين:
– شق نظري، نتناول في محوره الأوّل مفهوم الترابط النصي في الدرس البلاغي العربي القديم، وذلك بالبحث في نظرية التحام الأجزاء عند الجاحظ، ونعالج في محوره الثاني مفهوم الترابط النصي في الدرس اللساني الحديث، فنحدّد آليات الاتساق النصي عند هاليداي ورقية حسن.
– شق تحليلي، نحلّل فيه نادرة “الأخ المقل وأخيه المكثر” للجاحظ، فنبرز أهم الآليات الاتساقية والعلاقات الدلالية التي ساهمت في ترابطها وفي إنتاج الدلالة فيها، ونكشف عن جمال البلاغة فيها. ونختم دراستنا بأهم النتائج المتوصل إليها.

Abstract :
In this research, we seek to study the role of textual coherence in producing meaning in the story “The Lean Brother and His Plump Brother” found in Al-Jahiz’s book “The Misers”. In our approach to this subject, we rely on the findings of Arab rhetoricians, especially Al-Jahiz’s theory of the cohesion of parts, in addition to the contributions of Halliday and Raqia Hassan to the level of surface coherence in discourse. Through our study of this text belonging to the Arab heritage, we aim to uncover its textual essence by highlighting a set of tools, means, and relationships that give it cohesion and coherence.
In our study of this topic, we adopt a methodology that divides the research into two main sections:
1. Theoretical Section: We delve into the concept of textual coherence in ancient Arabic rhetoric. In the first axis, we examine the theory of the cohesion of parts according to Al-Jahiz. In the second axis, we address the concept of textual coherence in modern linguistic discourse, identifying the mechanisms of textual coherence according to Halliday and Raqia Hassan.
2. Analytical Section: Here, we analyze the rare text “The Lean Brother and His Plump Brother” by Al-Jahiz. We highlight the most important cohesive mechanisms and semantic relationships that contributed to its coherence and meaning production, revealing its rhetorical beauty. We conclude our study with the key findings.
