Abstract:
in my country (Libya) can found many natural sources that used in a lot of medical productions-as cough syrup – ointments- drinks and others. In the present work, inside private lab. for scientific researches in Libya-was estimating the occasion volume of Thymus oil that have medical effects in cough syrups due to this herb contain very reach beneficial volatile oil and other active ingredients. This oil used in variety and different industries in medicine-and available in natural in good quantity could be used as antimicrobial agents in food preservation especially antibacterial effects.
Components of thyme oil sold extracted by steam distillation, the ratio of volatile of thyme oil was 2.548% and specific gravity up to 0.9609, while the optical refractive index 1. 5111 where thyme oil extracted will be used as input in some food products for human consumption, the study required conduct some laboratory experiments with respect to toxic dose or toxicity to estimate the Lethal dose 50 (LD50) or dose that kills 50% of the experimental animals, even used repeatedly, in this study, the dose that kills 50% of rats and maximum non-lethal dose and minimal dose lethal to all rats was reached, the use of volatile thyme oil, especially its use in the manufacture of cough syrups, Am confident now that the use of 0.1ml of thyme oil to prepare 1 liter of cough syrups or 0.01ml of thyme oil in 100ml of cough syrup for human consumption is safe even if used repeatedly by man every day, and the dose reached was 3.20 mg, which killed 50% of rats, weighing 200 grams. Many pharmacists and chemists used this product in manufacturing of medical products and other pharmaceutical industries. Thyme plant is one of the natural plants Perfumes liked by human being.

في بلدي (ليبيا) يمكن العثور على العديد من المصادر الطبيعية التي تُستخدم في الكثير من المنتجات الطبية – كشراب السعال، والمراهم، والمشروبات وغيرها. في العمل الحالي، داخل مختبر خاص للأبحاث العلمية في ليبيا، تم تقدير الحجم المناسب من زيت الزعتر الذي له تأثيرات طبية في شرابات السعال، نظرًا لاحتواء هذه العشبة على زيت طيار غني جدًا ومكونات نشطة أخرى. يُستخدم هذا الزيت في مجموعة متنوعة ومختلفة من الصناعات الدوائية، وهو متوفر طبيعيًا بكمية جيدة يمكن استخدامه كعامل مضاد للميكروبات في حفظ الأغذية، وخاصة التأثيرات المضادة للبكتيريا.
تم استخلاص مكونات زيت الزعتر المُباع بالتقطير بالبخار، وكانت نسبة الزيت الطيار من الزعتر 2.548% والكثافة النوعية تصل إلى 0.9609، بينما كان معامل الانكسار الضوئي 1.5111. سيتم استخدام زيت الزعتر المُستخلص كمدخل في بعض المنتجات الغذائية المخصصة للاستهلاك البشري، وتطلبت الدراسة إجراء بعض التجارب المعملية فيما يتعلق بالجرعة السامة أو السمية لتقدير الجرعة المميتة النصفية (LD50) أو الجرعة التي تقتل 50% من حيوانات التجارب، حتى مع الاستخدام المتكرر. في هذه الدراسة، تم التوصل إلى الجرعة التي تقتل 50% من الجرذان، والجرعة القصوى غير المميتة، والجرعة الدنيا المميتة لجميع الجرذان. باستخدام الزيت الطيار للزعتر، وخاصة في صناعة شرابات السعال، أنا واثق الآن من أن استخدام 0.1 مل من زيت الزعتر لتحضير 1 لتر من شراب السعال أو 0.01 مل من زيت الزعتر في 100 مل من شراب السعال للاستهلاك البشري هو آمن حتى مع الاستخدام المتكرر يوميًا من قبل الإنسان. وكانت الجرعة التي تم التوصل إليها والتي قتلت 50% من الجرذان، والتي يبلغ وزنها 200 جرام، هي 3.20 مجم. يستخدم العديد من الصيادلة والكيميائيين هذا المنتج في تصنيع المنتجات الطبية والصناعات الدوائية الأخرى. نبات الزعتر هو أحد النباتات العطرية الطبيعية المحببة للإنسان.
